Who is RankThread?

RankThread is a digital growth studio operated by Nurul Islam, based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, serving clients across the US, EU, and worldwide. The website rankthread.com and all related services are owned and operated by RankThread.

For shorthand, "we," "us," and "our" refer to RankThread. "You" and "your" refer to anyone using the site or engaging us for services.

What does using this site mean?

Browsing rankthread.com, submitting a brief through our contact form, or signing on as a client means you've read and accepted these terms. If you don't accept them, don't use the site or engage us.

If you're hiring RankThread on behalf of a company, you're confirming you have the authority to do so on its behalf.

What services does RankThread offer?

We offer the services listed on our service pages, currently SEO, web design, content marketing, email marketing, social media, analytics, AI tools, voice agents, and app development. Scope, deliverables, and timelines for any specific engagement are agreed in writing before work starts.

We reserve the right to change, add, or remove services from our public offering. Existing engagements aren't affected by changes to that list.

How do retainers and payments work?

All retainers are month-to-month with no long-term contracts. Pricing starts at $497/month for individual services and $1,497/month for bundles. The specific scope and rate for your engagement is confirmed in writing before work begins.

Billing. Retainers are invoiced at the start of each month, due on receipt. Late payments may pause active work until the invoice clears.

Cancellation. Cancel any month with at least 7 days' written notice before the next billing cycle. We don't issue refunds for partial months once work has started, but you keep everything we've delivered through your last paid month.

Strategy and discovery work. Once a strategy document, audit, or research deliverable has been completed and shared with you, it's non-refundable.

One-off projects. Project fees follow the payment schedule in your written agreement, typically 50% to start and 50% on delivery.

Scope changes. If you want to expand the scope, we quote the additional work before doing it. We don't quietly add hours and surprise you on the next invoice.

What do you own? What do we own?

When your retainer is current and you've paid for the work, you own the deliverables we've created for you: copy, designs, code, strategy documents, campaign assets, all of it.

We retain ownership of:

• Our methodology, processes, frameworks, and templates that we use across multiple clients
• Pre-existing tools, scripts, and code libraries we bring to the engagement
• Anonymous performance data we use to improve how we work

We may use your engagement as a case study in our portfolio, with your business name and headline results, unless you ask us in writing not to. Specific creative assets won't be shared publicly without your permission.

What about confidentiality?

We treat anything you share with us as confidential. That includes business plans, customer data, internal numbers, login credentials, and financials. We don't share it, sell it, or discuss it outside the team working on your account.

If you need a formal NDA before sharing sensitive information, we'll sign one. Just ask.

What does RankThread guarantee?

Honest answer: nothing about the market.

We do not guarantee:

• Specific rankings on Google or any other search engine
• Specific revenue, conversion rate, or growth numbers
• That a particular campaign will outperform a previous one
• That algorithms, platforms, or competitors won't change in ways that affect your results

We do guarantee:

• The work we promise gets done, on the timeline we agreed to
• The work is original and built on real research, not templates dressed up
• If something we're doing isn't working, we tell you and change course
• Replies to your messages within one business day during your engagement

Anyone in this industry who guarantees specific outcomes is either lying or new. Be careful who you hire.

What if something goes wrong?

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RankThread's total liability for any engagement is capped at the amount you've paid us in the 90 days before the issue arose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages such as lost profits, lost opportunities, reputational harm, or business interruption, even if we knew those outcomes were possible.

Services are provided "as is." We don't warrant that the work will achieve any specific business outcome, only that it will be carried out with the skill and care expected of a professional studio.

When can we end the engagement?

Either side can end a retainer with 7 days' written notice before the next billing cycle. We may end an engagement immediately if:

• An invoice is overdue by 30 days or more
• You use our work to do something illegal or harmful
• You're abusive toward us in a way that makes the work untenable
• You ask us to do something that conflicts with our principles or with another client's interests

If we end an engagement, you keep all deliverables completed and paid for through that date.

What law applies?

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any dispute that can't be resolved through good-faith conversation will be settled in the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh, unless we mutually agree to mediation or arbitration.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country.

Will these terms change?

Yes, occasionally. When we update them, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page changes. If you're a current client and we make a material change that affects your engagement, we'll email you before it takes effect.
